  • ✓ RAM: 4 GB minimum (8 GB recommended for 4K conversion)
  • ✓ Storage: 200 MB for the app + space for video output files
  • ✓ GPU (optional): NVIDIA GPU for hardware-accelerated encoding (NVENC)
  • ⚠ FFmpeg required (not included). See the FFmpeg Setup Guide to download and configure it before first use.

FFmpeg not included

RonCoDev Video Converter uses FFmpeg for all encoding operations. FFmpeg is open-source software distributed under the LGPL (or GPL, depending on your build). It is not bundled with the installer to keep the download small and to let you choose your preferred build.
